As part of BREEZE, an assessment has been carried out to explore the PV deployment potential of the EPBD Solar Mandate across different building categories in the EU, with a closer look at the project’s pilot countries France, Italy and Poland.
The analysis represents an important step in BREEZE’s work to support the implementation of the Solar Mandate and corresponds to the PV Deployment Potential Estimation foreseen under Milestone 7 of the project.
The work was carried out by SolarPower Europe, with contributions and input from CSTB, EURAC and NAPE. The one-page summary below provides an accessible overview of the approach, key assumptions and main results of the analysis.
