The BREEZE-LIFE project has officially started with a kick-off meeting held in Munich, hosted by project partner WIP Renewable Energies. The project brings together partners from Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, France, and Denmark.
BREEZE is an EU-funded project that supports Member States in the development and scaling up of building renovation strategies. The project focuses on the use of improved building stock data, open-source tools, and structured methodologies to support planning and decision-making.
During the meeting, partners aligned on project objectives, work structure, and next steps.
The kick-off programme also included a site visit to a building managed by Baugenossenschaft Hartmannshofen, providing an example of renovation measures implemented in practice.
The meeting marked the start of collaboration activities that will continue throughout the project duration.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s LIFE Programme for the Environment and Climate Action under grant agreement No 101215197.
